Naa Torshie Weds in Style
Hardy politician cum lawyer, Irene Naa Torshie Addo, on Saturday got married at a simply but classy partly-private ceremony at the Accra Ridge Church.
Naa Torshie, the Administrator for the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) got married to the love of her life, Frank Kwaku Lartey. The ceremony was attended by the great and mighty from the corporate and political fraternities as well as senior members of the Clergy.
The pre-planning ceremony was kept under wraps and invitation cards went to a very selected few.
The guests were ‘dressed to kill’. Among them were Vice President Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Chief of Staff Frema Osei Opare and Minister for Justice and Attorney General Gloria Akuffo, who turned up in a short golden dress with her trademark ankle chain.
Minister for Communication Ursula Owusu Ekuful turned up with her husband, Sam M. Ekuful.
Also, in attendance were Senior Minister Yaw Osafo Marfo, Defence Minister Dominic Nitiwul and Director-General of the National Lotteries Authority (NLA) Kofi Osei Ameyaw who pulled up at the venue in his customized Rolls Royce.
Billionaire politician and business tycoon, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong MP for Assin North, Minister for Regional Reorganization and Development, Dan Botwe, Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, COCOBOB Board Chair, Hackman Owusu Agyeman, former Mayor of Accra, Adjiri Blankson and several other big names were all present.
Senior members of the clergy at the event include Bishop Eastwood Anaba, Pastor Mensa Otabil, Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah, Dr. Evangelist Lawrence Tetteh, Most Rev. Dr. Samuel Asante Antwi, Most Rev. Prof Emmanuel K. Asante, Rt. Rev. Thomas B. Forson, Very Rev. Emmanuel Kobena Aryee, Rev. Canon Sam L. Lamptey, Rev. Canon Nelson, Rev. Francis Connong Oteng among others.
