NAGRAT has lashed out on the Auditor General and the Government of Ghana t over what they term as the nationwide crackdown on payroll fraud which is set to begin next week.
According to the National Graduate Teachers Association(NAGRAT), the crackdown which is expected to force all civil servants to justify their employment status.
Earlier government has indicated its aims and measures put on board to eradicate all ghosts names from the country’s payroll.
Through the office of Special Prosecutor, government and that of the Auditor General is eradicating measures to clean the country’s payroll from all ghost names.
But Angle Carbonu speaking on Neat FM’s Ghana Montie today July 12, 2018 said the exercise yet to be done will amount to nothing meaningful.
Explaining further, he said the exercise has been conducted on several occasions but not a single person has been caught.
