NAM1 To Build 5 Ultra-Modern Theaters For Ghana In 2019
Menzgold and Zylofon Media CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM1, has promised to build five ultra-modern theaters in the country to revive the Ghanaian movie Industry.
Despite the many troubles facing his gold trading firm Menzgold, NAM1 still seem not to give up on developmental issues of mother Ghana.
He said, building of the theaters are in connection to his plan to put in place positive structures that will help people patronize movies being produced in Ghana.
“We would get Zylofon Films to build 5 more Ultra-Modern Theaters in the regions in Partnership with the Tourism, Arts and Culture in 2019” – he said.
In other news, Zylofon Media on December 7th will officially premiere their first movie under Zylofon Films titled “The New Adabraka”.
The Zylofon Brand:
Zylofon Movies provides the room for the promotion of Ghanaian movies, actors and their works and there’s Zylofon Theatre, a sophisticated large-seating edifice that would take care of the showcase of such works as well as serve as an auditorium for every other
In a country where legends of the craft are dying poor and the young are floundering over the mismanagement of their intellectual properties, NAM comes with a brilliant establishment – Zylofon Publishing; a company that would be responsible for ensuring that Ghanaian songwriters and composers receive payment when their compositions are used commercially.
Funding is one of the biggest banes of the industry with failed promises made by successive governments as well as the refusal of financial companies to support the arts. In another bold and impressive move, Nana Appiah Mensah sets up the Zylofon Arts Fund with capital of $1million to provide much needed succor for industry practitioners in the production, promotion and marketing of their works.
In the last decade, technology has seen a paradigm shift in how elements and products in the creative space are projected and it has also provided another avenue on how artists and art enthusiasts can make money. NAM recognizes the shift and has provided a leeway on how talented individuals can put themselves out there and make money too – in the name of Zylofon Dream & Zylofon Cash.
A once vibrant Ghanaian movie industry has teetered on the brink of collapse in the last couple of years, and the establishment of Zylofon Movies, Zylofon Marketing and Zylofon Publishing are expected to help reinvigorate the sector and as an essential add-on, there’s also the Zylofon Movie Awards – a scheme to award hard work, proficiency and excellence and encourage healthy competition in the area of film making in Ghana.
In all these, there must be a platform to trumpet and showcase all the works within the creative industry and there comes Zylofon TV, Zylofon FM and the portal, www.zylofonmedia.com.
But wait, there’s more! There are on-going works on the establishment of Zylofon Arts Stores across the country to sell physical and digital music, movies and other arts-related products, plus the making of Zylofon Data Tracking System to help in the general data collection, tracking and logging of songs and other related products.
Nana Appiah Mensah virtually has every hole covered in an industry that has been in such a haphazard state for years and in filling the holes, he’s helped build the economy by employing over 3,000 personnel across the country.
