President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced a reshuffle of the Upper East and Upper West regional ministers, as confirmed by Eugene Arhin, the Communications Director at the Presidency.
According to a statement released on Thursday, April 4, 2024, Stephen Yakubu, currently serving as the Upper East Regional Minister, will transition to the role of Upper West Regional Minister.
Conversely, Hafiz Bin Salih, the incumbent Upper West Regional Minister, will assume the position of Upper East Regional Minister with immediate effect.
“These changes are part of President Akufo-Addo’s ongoing efforts to ensure effective governance across the country,” Mr. Arhin stated in the statement, adding that the ministers have been tasked to diligently work towards promoting the welfare and development of the people in the Upper West and Upper East regions, respectively.
