Nana Addo ‘Sacks’ Auditor-General
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has directed the Auditor-General, Daniel Domelovo, to proceed on leave effective Wednesday, July 1.
A statement by Communications Director at the Jubilee House, Eugene Arhin, stated that Mr Domelovo must take his accumulated leave of 123 working days.
The statement further directed that Mr Domelovo must hand over to the deputy Auditor-General Mr Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu until his return from his leave.
According to the statement, this is not the first time an Auditor-General has been asked to proceed on leave since President Mills did same with Dua Agyeman in 2009 when he was to proceed on leave for 264 working days.
