THE NEWLY elected National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, over the weekend gave thanks to God at the St. Cyprians Anglican Church in Kumasi.
He was accompanied by his mother, family members, schools mates, loved ones and NPP members and supporters in Kumasi.
NPP bigwig such as Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh aka ‘Napo’, the Minister of Education, Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, aka ‘Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional NPP Chairman, and Chief Executives of the various institutions in the country were there to lend their support.
Interestingly, Dominic Eduah, who was Nana B’s main contender for the national youth organizer position, was also at the church.
The religious programme was characterized by singing and dancing to melodious gospel tunes provided by the church’s choir, followed by fervent prayers for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Ghanaians in general.
Nana B told THE PUBLISHER that God helped him to win the just-ended election at Koforidua, hence his decision to thank the Lord in church.
