Nana wishes VGMA Nominees well, promises support for the Arts Sector
The President of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo has expressed optimism in this year’s edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
In a tweet few hours to the awards show, President Akufo-Addo wished all Nominees well and further promised his government commitment to improve the Arts Sector.
“The excitement generated by this year’s #VGMA20 is testimony to the amazing talents we have in the creative arts industry. As I have said before, my government will continue to support the development of the creative arts industry. #MoNeYo to all the nominees.” he tweeted.
Sika Osei and Giovani at the moment are hosting the Red Carpet segment.
The glitzy event will be laced with music performances. VGMA 2019 will be a night where the 4s—Sarkodie, Samini, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy rock the stage alongside the 4Ks—Kuami Eugene, Kwesi Arthur, KiDi and King Promise.
That is not all, patrons have been asked to brace up for a major nostalgic moment with legends Abrantee Amakye Dede, and Barima Sydney.
Also mounting the stage at VGMA 2019 are Medikal and Gospel musician, Diana Hamilton.
