NAPO CELEBRATES OTUMFUO

THE Minister of Education, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh aka ‘Napo, has hailed the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, for his invaluable contribution towards the growth of education in the country.

He said the ‘Otumfuo Education Fund’, established by the Asante Monarch, has helped more than 20,000 students to realize their academic goals.

According to him, but for the Asantehene’s intervention, several brilliant-but-needy students in the country would have become dropouts from school.

The minister disclosed that the educational sector had seen massive progress following Otumfuo’s intervention, stressing that the country had produced quality lawyers, doctors, nurses, journalists and other professionals, as a result of his invaluable contributions.

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Manhyia South Constituency prayed that God would protect and bless Otumfuo so that he would continue his good works for the country.
