DR. MATTHEW Opoku Prempeh has personally presented five flat screen Samsung TV sets to the KNUST School of Medicine and Dentistry.
The largesse was in direct response to a passionate appeal made to him by the school, which is his alma mater to help improve teaching and learning through technology there.
Napo, who is the Member of Parliament (MP) for Manhyia South Constituency in Kumasi, said he was highly elated to have gotten the opportunity to support his old school.
“I see myself as doctor first before a politician so I am more than excited to get the chance to support my school to improve academic work”, Dr. Prempeh aka ‘Napo’ stated.
Napo recounted how the KNUST School of Medicine and Dentistry has helped to make him a responsible person, who is doing his utmost best to help transform the country.
“I’m giving back to my school, which has played significant roles in shaping my life and helping me to get to my current status in life”, Napo said “I’m very excited today”.
Prof Daniel Ansong, the Dean of School of Medicine and Dentistry of KNUST, said the TV sets would improve academic work, lauding Napo for his kindness.
Prof. Christian Agyare, the Provost of College of Health Sciences KNUST, who received the items, also commended Napo for his kind heart and support.
