Napo ladies shake Kumasi

NEW PATRIOTIC Party’s (NPP) campaign in the Ashanti Region was taken to a different level on Friday when 100 pretty looking ladies stormed the streets to market Dr. Bawumia, the party’s flag-bearer.

The gorgeous looking ladies are said to be staunch supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Vice Presidential Candidate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, who is widely referred to as ‘Napo’.

Led by Nana Ama Tima Boakye, the Napo ladies, who were dressed in beautiful NPP colours of red, white and blue, were spotted preaching about the NPPs splendid works to driver and passengers in the city.

The NPP ladies presence in the busy streets of the Garden City was approved by the residents of Kumasi, especially those who support the NPP, as they were seen encouraging the ladies to sustain their good works.

Nana Ama Tima Boakye in an interview with THE NEW PUBLISHER said “the NPP should be visible in the Ashanti Region, which is the party’s stronghold, so they could win more votes and retain political power”.

The President Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government, she remarked, has transformed the country with extraordinary policies and programmes, arguing that the NPP should retain political power to develop the country.

Nana Tima said “We are in the streets of the Garden City preaching about the NPPs positive records and also highlighting what Dr. Bawumia-Napo government will also do increase the development we have secured”, she said.

According to her, the NPP ladies commenced the streets campaign with 100 ladies on Friday and the number is expected to be increased to 300 from Monday till the last day of campaign, saying “NPP will win big on December 7”.
