RESIDENTS OF Manhyia South Constituency in Kumasi have benefited from an ultra-modern Ambulance Station facility.
The project is the brainchild of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh aka ‘Napo’, the Manhyia South Member of Parliament (MP).
Napo, who doubles as the Education Minister, also presented 20 new beds to the Manhyia Government Hospital to boost their work.
Napo expressed hope that the ambulance station would go a long way to help bring healthcare closer to the people in the area and beyond.
According to him, he has plans to expand the ambulance station so that fire service in the area could also use it to improve their efficiency.
“Whenever there is a disaster, ideally, ambulance and fire service should move together to assist the injured that is the best practice”, he said.
Napo lauded the Kumasi Mayor, Osei Assibey-Antwi for his support, which has helped for the Ambulance Station dream to become a reality.
He advised those that would be using the facility to ensure good maintenance culture so future generations could also use the facility.
Osei Assibey-Antwi, the Kumasi Mayor, on his part, enumerated the projects that Napo has secured to transform the constituency.
He therefore urged the residents of Manhyia South Constituency to vote for Napo and President Akufo-Addo on December 7, 2020.
“If you want to see more projects and the continuation of the free Senior High School (SHS) policy then vote for Napo and Nana Addo”, he declared
Dr. Kamaru Deen Korku Hussein, the Medical Superintendent, Manhyia Government Hospital, lauded Napo for his positive works.
According to him, the hospital has benefitted immensely from Napo’s generosity, urging the Manhyia South Lawmaker to sustain his good works.
