NAPO: Politics is all about the people

Member of Parliament for the Manhyia South Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh was mobbed by his constituents in an unrestrained excitement when he touched base with them as one of his periodic meet and greet sessions early this week.

Dr. Opoku Prempeh, mostly known as ‘Napo’ retained the Manhyia South seat by winning some 84.72% of valid votes cast in the 2020 elections.

“Touching base with citizenry has been a core part of my political career, because I believe it is the only way one gets the unvarnished truth about the realities on the ground’ Napo noted in a Facebook on Tuesday.

He continued: “As I continue to accompany the President on his working tour of the Ashanti Regional, I get to enjoy interacting with citizens from all walks of life. Politics is all about the people.”
