NDC GRILLS YAMMIN

JOSEPH YAMMIN is in deep waters as reports say he had been summoned to meet the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) over his alleged comments on radio.

The party leadership is said to be unhappy with his alleged remarks that the NDC would not disband its vigilante group, the ‘Hawks’.

He is to meet the leadership at the party’s national office in Accra.

According to reports, the party sees Yammin’s comments as embarrassing as it tends to label the NDC as a political party that doesn’t love peace.

The embattled Yammin has confirmed that the party had summoned him to a meeting over his comments on radio, but denies any wrongdoing.

“I will go and prove my innocence before the NDC committee. I will go with a video and audio recording of the interview I had on radio recently.

“There is nowhere that I said the NDC will not disband the Hawks. I only said the Hawks is not a vigilante group and that is the gospel truth”, he said.
