HENRY NANA Boakye, a top contender for the National Youth Organizer position in the New Patriotic Party (NPP), insists the opposition NDC is scared of him.
According to him, the NDC doesn’t like his vibrant and outspoken nature and would wish that he lost the race.
Nana Boakye, popularly known in political circles as ‘Nana B’, and confident of winning the primaries, stated that the party’s delegates see him as the perfect replacement for the outgoing National Youth Organizer, Sammi Awuku.
“The NDC are clearly scared of me because they know that I have the antidote to every trick and diabolic strategies that they would try to use to win the 2020 polls.
“The NDC, after their embarrassing defeat in 2016, would be coming into the 2020 elections like wounded lions because they don’t want to lose again.
“And you know that the NPP won the 2016 polls basically due to the potent nature of our youth wing, led by the indefatigable Sammi Awuku.
“And as I said, the NPP can easily retain political power in 2020 if our youth wing remains resolute; and that is exactly what I will provide as the youth leader”.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with THE PUBLISHER, Nana B said he had toured the entire country three times over and is impressed with the positive response from the delegates.
“The party’s delegates, during my tour, expressed confidence in me to lead our dear party to retain power in 2020”, he concluded.
