NDC Threatens ‘Fire’ On Nana
THE OPPOSITION National Democratic Congress (NDC) has threatened to intensify their criticism of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government in the coming days.
According to Kwaku Boahen, NDC Deputy National Communications Director, the NPP government has performed abysmally ever since they assumed power, and hinted of the opposition party’s intention to pile greater heat of criticism on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s administration until the government ‘performs better’.
Boahen admitted that the NDC had lately been very critical of what he described as ‘the non-performing NPP administration’, which he claimed has stagnated Ghana’s growth over the past one-year, and promised to expose government’s blatant lies and propaganda.
“You have not seen anything yet, we have not started our criticism of President Akufo-Addo. Very soon you will see the NDC criticizing President Akufo-Addo proper”, he threatened.
Kwaku Boahen noted that instead of the NPP creating jobs as they promised before the 2016 polls “they are rather sacking workers.
He further threatened that if need be, the NDC would consider forcing President Akufo-Addo to resign so as to save the country from falling into a ditch.
The NDC communicator finally chastised vice president, Dr. Bawumia, for failing to save the cedi from badly performing against the major international currencies.
“Instead of Dr. Bawumia arresting the Cedi as he promised before the polls, he is rather moving around displaying love to his wife with flowers”, he said on UTV.
