NDC Wades into JB Killer’s Controversy
THE LARGEST opposition political party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has jumped to the defense of the alleged killer of lawmaker, J.B Danquah Adu.
According to the party, the seeming attempt to tag Sexy Don Don, the suspected killer, as a mad person, so as to prevent him from speaking in court, was against the laws of Ghana.
The NDC, therefore, has urged the appropriate quarters to make sure that efforts by some unseen hands to wrongly tag the accused as insane person were stopped.
Afrifa Yamoah Ponkoh, a top NDC member, who made the statement, said everything was clear that Sexy Don Don was a sound person, who seemed ready to help the court to get to the bottom of the case.
“Don’t tag Sexy Don Don as a mad person because he is not. The guy is sound and he is ready to mention names of the NPP members that engaged him to kill the late MP”, he said.
According to him, the accused person was only tagged as mad after he had alleged that some NPP members engaged him to commit the devilish act.
“They should let him mention names of the NPP members that hired him to kill the late MP so that they can also be apprehended to face the laws of the land.
Where is the medical report that shows that Sexy Don Don is a mad person?”, he asked, stressing that the accused person was not tagged as insane from the start of the case.
