Nduom Customers Go Naked – Over Locked-Up Cash
Some aggrieved customers of GN Bank and Gold Coast Fund Management, belonging to politician and businessman, Papa Kwesi Ndoum, yesterday developed innovative way to demand their locked up capital by going half naked.
The customers besieged the head office of Groupe Nduom at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel at Kanda in Accra to request deposits locked up in the two firms.
The customers, numbering over 50, marched to the office are insisting they will not leave the premises until their monies are paid in full.
The Staff of the company had a hectic time handling the aggrieved customers who could not watch their life savings go down the drain.
This is not the first time customers of the two companies headed by Mr. Nduom as its President and Chairman have demanded their cash in public.
In May this year, some customers while staging a demo dubbed:”Nduom Kum yen preko” called on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the government to intervene and help retrieve their investments.
The members made up of pensioners said they are unable to take care of their basic needs.
The angry customers said the group Chairman of the financial institution Dr. Nduom deliberately decided and refused to pay them back their fixed deposit investments.
The customers clad in red attire held placards with inscriptions such as “Nduom is using our money for crypto currency”, “Mr president, God is watching”, “You are a liar Paa Kwesi”, “Dr Nduom bring back the monies of disabled (persons)” among others.
