NIB Thanks God for Fruitful 2017
The management and staff of National Investment Bank (NIB) yesterday held a special Thanksgiving Service for a successful 2017 and sought God’s guidance for 2018.
In a sermon, Rev. Dr. Fred Dogbe, Former General Secretary of Christian Council, called on the staff to do what is right at all times and also show respect to their customers. He was happy the management of the bank had not forgotten about God and urged them to continue to honour the Lord.
He expressed confidence that the Bank would grow from strength to strength but urged the staff to refrain from negative attitudes such as gossiping and backbiting among themselves.
Rev, Dobge prayed for wisdom and understanding for the management and staff to overcome every challenge in the bank.
With over fifty-two branches across the country, the bank, under the leadership of John Kweku Asamoah, Managing Director and Togbe Afede XIV, Board Chairman, had seen tremendous growth in recent years.
Speaking to the paper, the Managing Director, John Asamoah (MD) said the bank was on course towards rolling out many products this year to register its place among the 32 Universal Banks operating in Ghana.
He reiterated the Bank’s obligation of assisting Small and Medium Scale Enterprises to enable them contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.
The service was on the theme: “He Has Made Everything Beautiful In His Time…Ecc 3:11 and in attendance was Joyful Way Inc. and the NIB Choir.
