Nigeria, Ghana Face Off In Friendly Matchup

Nigeria and Ghana are scheduled to clash in an international friendly on March 22 in Marrakech, aiming to rebound from their disappointments at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has unveiled its squad for the upcoming game. The Super Eagles, who finished as runners-up in the tournament following a heart-wrenching loss to hosts Ivory Coast in the final, are keen on regaining form and setting a positive course for future challenges.

The NFF is yet to appoint a successor to Portuguese coach Jose Peseiro, who stepped down.

Ghana, however, faced a dismal outing in the Africa Cup of Nations, bowing out at the group stage with a mere two points from three matches.

The Black Stars are also in search of a permanent head coach, with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) poised to reveal a new appointment before the Nigeria encounter.
