The abandoned and deteriorated head office of the Lotto Marketing Companies (LMC) in Accra, has been renovated.
The renovation which has been long overdue came into reality with the support of Mr. Kofi Osei Ameyaw, Chief Executive of the National Lotteries Authority (NLA).
It includes the expansion of the sitting area, new furniture, executive meeting hall, and the installation of air-conditioners
The Lotto Marketing Companies are the mainstream customers of NLA, helping the Authority to sell to generate revenue for Government to undertake developmental projects.
However, its Head Office was in a very bad state, which was unbefitting considering their level of contribution to Government as far as revenue mobilization and jobs creation are concerned.
Upon his appointment in March 2017, Mr. Ameyaw put in place steps to get the Head Office renovated and furnished.
He together with his Board, collaborated with the leadership of the Association, led by Mr. Daniel Mensah, Chairman and Mr. Kofi Frimpong, General Secretary to get the building renovated.
The Association in turn applauded him for a wonderful work done.

Mr. Ameyaw has achieved breathtaking innovations at the authority in less than two years in office as the Director-General.
His leadership has seen the economic management team of government abolish a 7.5% income tax on the commission of Lotto Marketing Companies as well as ensure the removal of the 5% withholding tax on lotto prizes.
He also paid into the Consolidated Fund an amount of GH¢30 million for the year 2017.
Mr. Ameyaw together with his board, according to sources, have several projects and programs in the pipeline which would be implemented next year, towards the total transformation of Lottery business in Ghana.
