No Insurance for Kotoko Players Involved in Accident

KUMASI ASANTE Kotoko players that were involved in a gory road accident last season are yet to receive insurance package.

This strange news was disclosed by former Kotoko Trainer, Steve Polack, who is currently in his home country of Finland.

Kotoko, it would be recalled, were returning to Kumasi from Accra when their bus got involved in a gory accident.

A Kotoko official lost his life, several players and Coach Polack, sustained severe injuries after the fatal accident.

The injuries that the Kotoko team suffered were severe so the Ghana Football Association (GFA) suspended the league briefly.

Coach Polack, who suffered leg and neck injuries, speaking from Finland, said he is yet to receive a pesewa as insurance package.

“I was not given anything and some of the players have also been complaining to me that they were not paid anything”.

Coach Polack, who was speaking on Nhyira fm, did not rule out the possibility of him returning to Ghana football one day.
