Not ready for MUSIGA Position – Samini
Ghanaian reggae and dancehall artiste, Samini has disclosed his unreadiness to lead the Musician Union Of Ghana(MUSIGA).
MUSIGA would be electing a new president this year to replace Bice Osei Kuffuor popularly known as Obour, and a number of names in the industry have come up as possible replacement.
They include Appietus, Samini and Okyeame Kwame but the ”My Own” hitmaker in an interview on Class Fm said, the stage needs him more presently than the office of MUSIGA.
“I think I’m too young for that. In Obour’s case, I think he had done what he needed to do on stage and he was ready to give up the stage for office, I think the stage needs me more than the office at the moment”, the multiple award-winning artiste said.
According to him, he is not ready to play the leadership role in the music industry for many reasons.
