“Yes is true that Mr Ntim did well, there’s no doubt on that. No individual can disagree on that, the votes he had clearly shows how formidable person he is in the Party”
These were words from Veteran Journalist Kweku Baako on the lost of Stephen Ntim.
Over the weekend, the New Patriotic Party held its National Delegates Conference in Koforidua which saw Freddie Blay winning over fourth time contestant Stephen Ntim. Mr Blay won with 3,021 votes as against Stephen Ntim 2,515 votes.
But Kweku Baako, Editor-in-chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper speaking on peace FM Kokrokoo Morning Show hosted By Chairman General Kwame Sefa Kayi said to him, he is not that much of surprise on the win of Freddie Blay as National Chairman of the Party.
According to him, Mr Blay has demonstrated himself well all these years to lead the party to another general election in 2020.
Answering question on the allegations against Freddie Blay on the 275 bus Saga to all constituencies, he said,
“I find it very disturbing on how the Minority is drawing the link of GNPC work programme to this issue of the buses, is merely a suspicious thing they are doing, my investigation so far has nothing to do with GNPC money. Freddie Blay is a very smart man, he will never take state money for his personal gains”
Ending his talk on the NPP’s conference, he entreat all newly party elected executives to partake in unity, better understanding to help the President accomplish his dream in the office of the Presidency.
