NPP cares for every Ghanaian unlike Mahama’s NDC – Akufo-Addo
President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says he’s proud about the equitable distribution of developmental projects across the country and sectors of the Ghanaian economy.
According to him, the NPP believes that citizens of the country should always be treated with respect they deserve and once they give the mandate them, it works at ensuring that the promises made are fulfilled.
He said “We believe that citizens must be treated with respect. Once given the mandate to govern, we are bound by promises that we make to the good people of Ghana and we set about translating the promises into concrete programmes.”
“I take pride especially in two things that have characterized the implementation of our programmes: we have succeeded at equitable distribution, which means all parts of the country have been touched by our policies. And we have delivered value for money,” he added.
President Akufo-Addo made these comments at the launch of the NPP’s 2020 manifesto in the Central Region on Saturday, August 22, 2020.
Meanwhile, National Chairman of the NPP, Freddie Blay has also asked Ghanaians to renew the mandate of the party on December 7, 2020.
He says the party has more to offer Ghanaians and the extension of its mandate will be in the right direction because they have been able to improve the country’s ailing economy in less than four years.
To him, giving the NPP another four years in office will be a positive move in further safeguarding the future on Ghana.
“Within the three and a half years, we have kept our faith with the people of Ghana to a very great extent. We have fulfilled our promises largely and this is evident all over the country, and it could be seen in the extent that the economy has been repaired in spite of its mercy state we found it.”
