NPP CONGRATULATES GJA AWARD WINNERS
The NPP has received with delight, news of the honour conferred on some of the fine journalists in the country, particularly, the celebrated Kwame Sefa Kayi, who was ultimately adjudged the 2016 JOURNALIST OF THE YEAR at yesterday’s GJA awards ceremony held at the Banquet Hall in Accra. Accordingly, the party wishes to join the rest of the world in congratulating them for this feat.
Undoubtedly, these journalists have distinguished themselves in the media industry within the period under review and as such, are very much deserving of their respective recognitions. Their hard work, dedication and professionalism in line of duty have indeed paid off.
As we congratulate them for this feat, we also wish to use this opportunity to call on other journalists in the country to take a cue from their great exploits and maintain the high standards that underpin the journalism professionalism for the love of country. Fortunately, we have a government that is committed to supporting the work of journalists in the country and beyond.
Once again, congratulations to all the awardees.
