NPP fights diseases in Manhyia South

A MASSIVE cleanup exercise, intended to stop the spread of diseases, has taken place at Manhyia Electoral Area in the Manhyia South Constituency.

Organized by Michael Karikari aka ‘KDK’, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Manhyia Electoral Area Coordinator, the commendable exercise attracted over 1,000 participants.

Among the participants were Richard Adjei Mensah Ofori-Atta aka ‘Tom-Tom’ and Elizabeth Owusu Ansah aka ‘Mother’, Manhyia Electoral Area NPP Women Organizer.

The Manhyia South Lawmaker, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh aka ‘Napo’, who doubles as Education Minister, provided logistics to make the six hours exercise possible.

Being supported by music, which was provided by Brass Band, the participants, who are mostly NPP members, desilted choked gutters and cleared bushy areas.

Richard Adjei Mensah Ofori-Atta aka ‘Tom-Tom’, a leading NPP member, said Napo has done a yeoman’s job to develop Manhyia South Constituency and Ghana in general.

According to him, the cleanup exercise was therefore organized ostensibly to help consolidate the splendid works of Napo, who is a development-oriented leader.

Tom-Tom, charged the teeming NPP supporters in the Manhyia South Constituency to vote massively for President Nana Akufo-Addo and Napo during the polls.

Sounding confident, Tom-Tom, who is member of the Manhyia South NPP Campaign Team, stated that the country needs NPP in political office to develop it.

KDK, on his part, tasked NPP members to embark on massive house-to-house campaign to win more votes, saying “your lives will be improved with NPP in power”.
