THE ASHANTI Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) Campaign Team for the 2024 elections has been successfully inaugurated.
The NPP Campaign Chairman, Dan Botwe, who supervised the Sunday’s historic event, said the party needs total unity to win the 2024 polls.
According to him, the NPP cannot win the 2024 elections on a silver platter, therefore the party members should embrace hard work.
Dan Botwe, who is well vexed in political issues, especially about elections, said the polls would be very difficult so the NPP should prepare well.
In this regard, he entreated the NPP members to join the campaign train of the party so they could collectively retain political power for the NPP.
According to him, the party leadership has outlined series of training programmes to train their members ahead of the crucial elections in December.
Dan Botwe said the NPP is approaching the elections with all the seriousness it deserves so they could make history by breaking the eight.
The Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Opare, on her part, said the NPP women and youth organizers should take center stage of the party’s campaign.
According to her, women and youth formed the larger part of Ghana’s population so the party should target their votes to ensure massive victory.
Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka ‘Wontumi’, the Ashanti Regional NPP Chairman, also called for unity and oneness in the NPP ahead of the election.
Sounding very confident, he stated that he “knows how to win elections”, therefore he would work for the NPP to secure a resounding victory in 2024.
The Energy Minister and MP for Manhyia South, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh aka ‘Napo’ was among the party bigwigs who attended the programme.
