OUTSPOKEN POLITICIAN, Akwasi Addai aka ‘Odike’ has predicted defeat for President Nana Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration in this year’s general polls
According to him, President Akufo-Addo has seen his electoral defeat in December 7, clearly written boldly on the wall and he wants to do everything possible to stop it.
To help dodge the imminent defeat, Odike said President Nana Akufo-Addo has started, what he (Odike) has termed as “Panic Campaign” to help secure votes on December 7.
Sounding like a prophet of doom, Odike, leader of the United Progressive Party (UPP), said President Akufo-Addo can never prevent defeat in the elections.
“President Nana Akufo-Addo has started panic campaign that is why they are cutting sod here and there. They have seen that it is the end of the road for them in December.
“But read my lips very well, no matter what the President will do, the NPP would suffer embarrassing defeat in the presidential and parliamentary elections”, Odike predicted.
The outspoken politician, who was speaking on Nhyira fm, said the NPPs imminent defat would start from the Ashanti Region, which the NPP claims to be its stronghold.
“President Nana Akufo-Addo has not done anything tangible to develop Asanteman, where he secured about 30 percent of his total votes to win the 2016 elections.
“The people in the Ashanti Region have realized that President Nana Akufo-Addo doesn’t care about their interest, so definitely they would vote against him”, he said.
According to him, ex-President Mahama, whose National Democratic Cogress (NDC) usually records low number of votes in the Ashanti region “did more for the region than what Nana Akufo-Addo has done”.
