The Director of Elections of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Evans Nimako, has warned all aspirants vying for various positions at the national level to desist from insulting each other.
According to him, the aspirants can go about campaigning without using unprintable words against one another.
He entreated the aspirants to focus on the message they have for the delegates.
The NPP is preparing for its delegates conference to elect new leaders who will steer affairs of the party for the next four years.
The polls are slated for 15 – 17 June 2018.
Mr Nimako told Chief Jerry Forson on Ghana Yensom on Accra 100.5FM that preparations are far advanced to ensure successful elections.
“We won’t tolerate insults among the aspirants, they should go about their campaign in a decorous manner and sell their messages to the delegates,” he said.
“Insults won’t help the party in any way,” he added.
