THE RULING New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been tipped to secure a first round victory in the presidential elections, scheduled for December 7.
The NPP first vice Chairman for Asokwa Constituency, Edmund Kyei, who made the bold prediction, said the government has performed exceptionally well and good.
According to Kyei, the NPP has proved to the electorates that indeed it is the suitable political party to manage the affairs of the country going forward.
Edmund Kyei pointed out that the ruling political party has virtually fulfilled all its manifesto promises in less than four years and even rolled out more policies.
In this regard, he confidently stated that Ghanaians would surely renew the mandate of President Nana Akufo-Addo to enable him to sustain his splendid works.
“In less than four years, President Nana Akufo-Addo and his NPP government has introduced the famous free Senior High School (SHS) programme.
“The government has also restored the teachers and nursing trainee allowance, created jobs for countless unemployed youth and reduced poverty”.
The NPP government, he said, has also worked tirelessly to stabilize power supply, noting that “the NDC’s Dumsor that destroyed businesses is over now”.
The Asokwa NPP first vice Chairman said the opposition NDC, especially its flagbearer, John Mahama, doesn’t has the wherewithal to lead the country.
Edmund Kyei observed that Mr. Mahama, when he was president for one term “displayed gross incompetence by destroying the economy so he can’t win the 2020 polls”.
