NPP-USA Honours Napaga Tia Sulemana

Clara Napaga Tia Sulemana, National Coordinator for Special Development Initiative at the Office of the President has been honoured by the New Patriotic Party’s branch in the United States (NPP-USA) as part of its 30th Anniversary celebrations.

Through thick and thin, Ms. Napaga Tia Suleman has over the years distinguished herself as a dedicated patriot of the NPP. Her selfless and meritorious contributions have enhanced the party’s attractiveness and fortunes.

Her pivotal role was recognized and celebrated at a May 25, 2024 event held in Virginia and dedicated to honouring patriots who have contributed to building the NPP. The event also served as a fundraising activity to support the Party’s campaign and election efforts in 2024.

A plaque presented to Ms. Napaga Tia Suleman in recognition of her contribution to the growth of the branch reads in part “ In appreciation of your exceptional and outstanding role and contribution to NPP-USA over the years. Your participation in our activities, your unwavering support frequently and your advocacy in matters that affect Ghanaians abroad is commendable and greatly honored”

Other persons honoured at the event were the Chief of Staff Akosua Frema Osei-Opare, CEO of the Ghana National Food Buffer Stock Company (NAFCO) Alhaji Wahab Abdul-Hannan Aludiba and Lawyer Hassan Tampuli, Deputy Minister for Transport and Member(MP)of Parliament for the Gushegu Constituency, Chief Executive Officer of NPA, Dr Mustapha Abdul Hamid and Deputy Chief of Staff Alhaji Fawaz Aliu .

The event which came off on May 25, 2024, under the theme “30 Years of Political Dedication and Sacrifice; Honouring Our Heroes, Preserving Our Legacy, Securing Our Future Through Victory” and held at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center, located at 5000 Seminary Road, Alexandria, VA 22311, had bigwigs of the party in attendance.

Secial Guest of honour for the event was the Vice President of Ghana and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia. Other personsalities in attendance were Ghana’s Ambassador to the USA, Hajia Alima Mahama, Hon. Joseph Osei-Wusu, First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, MP for Bekwai Constituency and Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, former General Secretary.

Over the past three decades, NPP-USA has played a pivotal role in the growth and success of the party. Its contributions include advocating for a democratic society, fighting for political power, championing constitutional reform, promoting innovation and technology in electoral processes, and establishing the External Affairs office, among other critical agendas.
