THE RULING New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been tipped to win the elections on December 7 and retain political power for four more years.
Deputy General Secretary of the party, Nana Obiri Boahen, who made the prediction, said the free Senior High School (SHS) policy would do the trick for the NPP.
“We are easily retaining political power with a resounding electoral victory on December 7 and the famous free SHS programme would serve as our trump card.
“This social intervention programme has benefitted every household in the country and definitely it will help the NPP to emerge as victorious”, the NPP man said.
According to him, majority of the free SHS beneficiaries, whose number exceeds one million, would cast their ballot for President Nana Akufo-Addo and the NPP.
The NPP Deputy General Secretary argued that the votes from the free SHS beneficiaries alone would make it possible for the NPP secure a massive victory.
Nana Obiri Boahen, who is convinced that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has no chance to win the polls, said ex-President Mahama would be retired from politics soon.
“After the December 7 NDC defeat, the party members would retire Mr. Mahama and all the current NDC National executives for non-performance”, he boldly predicted.
