NPP Youth Salute Sammi Awuku for Good Leadership

NEW PATRIOTIC Party (NPP) youth in the three northern regions have hailed Sammi Awuku, outgoing National Youth Organizer, for his extraordinary leadership style that helped to make the youth wing of the attractive and strong.

The NPP youth said they were not surprised when the NPP won the 2016 national elections.

According to them, the party’s victory was mainly due to the efforts of the youth wing. They made these observations when Awuku and his team recently visited the three regions to campaign.

Constituency by constituency, members paid tribute to him for serving the party faithfully for many years. Some of the youth even shed tears and were apprehensive that Awuku’s departure would weaken the youth wing of the ruling party.

In his succinct response, Sammi thanked the youth for recognizing his service to the party and assured them that even though he was gunning for the National Organizer position, he would not neglect the party’s youth wing.

He said he would continually support his successor and disclosed that he was running for the national organizer position with the aim of better organizing NPP for future elections.
