NPP’s Delta Force Leader Bamba Denies Defecting to NDC
Kwadwo Bamba, a leading member of the Delta Force, a group affiliated to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has denied claims that he has defected to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Speaking to Graphic Online, via telephone in Kumasi, he said “I will never leave NPP. I will die a staunch member of the NPP because of the good policies, programmes and high-quality leadership of the party.”
Bamba reacting to media reports suggesting he has abandoned the NPP said it was only one member of Delta Force, Ernest Appiah Danquah who has joined the NDC.
He said he has received several calls from friends and sympathisers across the country, wondering what would have occasioned his decision to leave the NPP and join the opposition NDC.
Mr Bamba urged Danquah to rescind his decision and come back to the NPP because the NDC would not be in power any time soon looking at the way and manner the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration was “governing the country with excellence.”
He said the NDC had nothing good to offer the country and urged Ernest Appiah Danquah to come back to the family.
