Ntim to Save Sick & Needy Party Members

THE DIFFICULTIES that sick members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) go through as they try to seek proper medication will soon be a thing of the past.

Mr. Stephen Ntim, a top member of the party, who is gunning for the national chairman position, has promised to assist sick members.

According to him, assisting party members, who have been hit with sickness, remained one of his key ambitions.

Ntim observed with pain, how some key NPP members are neglected by the party when they fall sick, noting that the trend needs to be reversed.

According to him, aside restructuring the party to win elections, he would also ensure that the welfare needs of party members, notably the sick, are catered for.

“If I am elected as the national chairman of the NPP, I will introduce a policy whereby sick members of our party would be catered for by the party.

“I will introduce the ‘Visitation of the Sick Party Members’ programme, which would ensure that our sick members are visited sand supported by the party.

“The current trend whereby the party doesn’t have any concrete programme or policy to support our sick members is not the best and I will change it”.

Mr. Ntim, who was speaking on radio in Kumasi, disclosed that he had already started visiting some indisposed party members.

He said his resolve to support sick party people is not a mirage, and stressed that the welfare of members would surely be boosted under his leadership.
