The President of the Ghana Football Association, (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi, sees Aduana Stars and Ashgold as potential league winners, this season.
According to him, even though the league is in its early days, Aduana Stars and Ashgold have showed impressive signs.
Lawyer Nyantakyi stated that it is too early for him to stick his neck and name the club that would emerge as champions.
He, however, stated that Aduana Stars and Ashgold have displayed positive signs which shows they really mean business, this season.
“The Ghana Premier League has just started therefore it will be very difficult for me to name the favourite for the league crown.
“But I must confess that defending Champions, Aduana Stars and league leaders, Ashgold, have showed positive signs, so far.
“The two clubs, by their performance so far, clearly, are determined to win the league to bring smiles into the faces of their fans”.
Mr. Nyantakyi, who is one of the finest football administrators in Africa, predicted that the league trophy would be keenly contested for.
