Obidi, Rex, Others entertain fans at MTN Music Festival

Rapper Sarkodie, ‘Made In Ghana’ man, Okyeame Kwame and legendary Rex Omar last night stormed the Garden City to treat Ghanaians to a phenomenal night of great Ghanaian music at the MTN Music Festival.

Patrons who were at the venue were awed by the spectacular performance from the various artiste on bill.

Some people who were at the programme took to social media to express their admiration of the various music performers stagecraft.

It was a night filled with back to back hit songs from the three main headline artiste among others.

Rex Omar’s performance was described by patrons as nostalgia as he performed his hit bangers Abiba, Dada Di Da, Tokota, Dada among other well-composed hit bangers.

Sarkodie and Okyeame Kwame gave patrons what they yearned for. The two rappers took patrons and their “Die Hard Fans” through their heydays classical hit songs.

The MTN Music Festival which is held as a prelude to key national holidays including the independence Day, May Day, and Farmers Day celebrations, is to celebrate and showcase the cultural heritage of Ghana through music, dance and poetry.

A number of personalities, including celebrities, creative industry stakeholders and music lovers from all walks  graced the event.
