The Ghana Microfinance Institutions Network (GHAMFIN) has announced Maglans Micro-Credit Enterprise as the Best Start-up Support for 2024 at the 3rd Non-Bank Financial Institutions Dinner and Awards Night.
This prestigious award recognises Maglans Micro-Credit’s outstanding contributions to the financial sector, particularly in empowering businesses to succeed.
Senior staff members, Mary Asare (Credit Manager) and Leticia Bio (Accounts Officer), represented the company at the awards night and received the honor on behalf of Maglans Micro-Credit Enterprise.
The company’s dedication to supporting the needs of informal, indigenous traders, and small business enterprises has earned it this recognition.
Among other awards, Maglans Micro-Credit Enterprise was also recognized as The Microcredit Enterprise Of The Year, 2020, at the 2nd Ghana Credit Excellence Awards organized by the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICMG).
Maglans Micro-Credit Enterprise is a non-bank financial institution registered with the Registrar of Companies and licensed by the Bank of Ghana to provide loans.
It was formed in 2016 under the leadership of Mr. Lansford Asumakah, the Manager and CEO of Maglans Micro Credit Enterprise, who is also a Chartered Credit Manager.
The company’s headquarters is situated at Obuasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
Maglans Micro-Credit Enterprise operates under the supervision of the Bank of Ghana and the Micro-Credit Association of Ghana, serving both the formal and informal sectors with a strong commitment to supporting the needs of informal, indigenous traders, and small business enterprises neglected by commercial and traditional banks.
