ODENEHO KWAKU Appiah, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman for Afigya Kwabre South, insists the party will easily retain political power in 2024.
According to him, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s administration has chalked landmark successes and that would help the NPP to retain political power.
Brimming with confidence, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah stated that the NPPs records, especially the way the government has worked and managed the Covid-19 is unmatched.
“The Covid-19 has crippled a lot of companies across the globe but due to President Akufo-Addo’s good works, we did not suffer that much”, he observed with pride.
Speaking at the Afigya Kwabre South NPP annual Delegates Conference, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah also demanded hard work from all NPP members.
According to him, even though the ruling NPP is the overwhelming favourite to win the 2024 national elections, the party should watch against complacency.
“President Akufo-Addo’s records will be our trump card for the 2024 polls but we should not be complacent. We should work hard for the victory”, he admonished.
Odeneho Kwaku Appiah also advised people that would be appointed as MMDCEs to be bold and represent the interest of the president in their various communities.
The Afigya Kwabre South NPP chairman also admonished the teeming party members to support moves to compile names of party members to become successful.
Party members that graced the occasion took stock of the party’s activities for last year and planned about what they ought to do to make the NPP stronger in future.
