OUTSPOKEN POLITICIAN, Akwasi Addai aka ‘Odike’, has once again descended heavily on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
According to him, considering the rich political background of the president, Ghanaians were hopeful that he would be their best ever leader in recent times.
Unfortunately, Odike, who is a number one critic of President Akufo-Addo, insisted that the current president was not living up to expectations.
Odike, who is the leader and founder of the United Progressive Party (UPP), said the country was rapidly sinking now due to bad leadership.
“President Nana Akufo-Addo is the luckiest president of Ghana during the Fourth Republic era because he had everything to be a better leader.
“He was birthed into a rich political family, his father was a former President of Ghana so he was lucky to be exposed to serious politics at a tender age.
“President Nana Akufo-Addo also had the chance to go to the United Kingdom (UK) to get the best of education, which prepared him for his future”, he said.
According to Odike, “Nana Akufo-Addo, whilst in opposition in the 1990’s, also led several mammoth demonstrations against bad governance”.
He said “with such a rich political experience under his sleeves, everybody thought he will deliver as a president, but sadly, he has been fumbling so far”.
Odike, was speaking on Akoma FM in Kumasi. He said the country’s fortunes had been retrogressing, since President Akufo-Addo took over power.
