OFFINSO-KOKOTE GETS MODERN MARKET

WORKS HAVE started for the construction of a modern market at Offinso-Kokote in the Ashanti region. The project, being financed by government, is expected to be completed in six months.

When completed, the new market would boast of 100 modern sheds and other amenities, including a borehole to provide potable drinking water for the people.

This was made known by the Member of Parliament (MP) for Offinso South Constituency, Hon. Ben Abdallah, during a sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of the market.

Ben Abdallah said the market, which was being constructed to help give traders a befitting place to do business, would also help create wealth in the area.

He further disclosed that government is in the process of fixing all bad roads in the constituency, and therefore appealed to the people to rally behind the President Nana Akufo-Addo government to deliver on its programmes and policies.
