Ofori-Atta Branded As ‘Minister of Loans’

The Minority in Parliament greeted the Minister of Finance, Mr Ken Ofori-Atta on his arrival to present the mid-year budget review on Thursday morning as “Minister for Loans” and “Loan Stars”.

They jeered the Finance Minister after the Speaker of Parliament invited him to read the budget to an almost empty room.

The minority on numerous occasions have expressed their displeasure at government on how the economy is being handled.

The Minority Spokesperson on Finance, Casiel Ato Forson recently stated that the Akufo-Addo led administration is delivering hell to Ghanaians contrary to the juicy promises made prior to the 2016 elections.

According to him, Akufo-Addo’s key promise of moving Ghana’s economy from taxation to production has completely failed to materialise.
