Okada Rider Killed

A 16-YEAR-OLD Okada rider has been killed by unknown assailants, who are still at large, THE PUBLISHER has been informed.

The shocking incident reportedly occurred at Nkoranza near Diaso in the Upper Denkyira East Constituency of the Central region.

The deceased, identified as Ebenezer Owusu, was found lying in a bush, with blood on his face and other parts of his body.

Residents believe some people, who engaged the teenager’s services, might have killed him, possibly, for ritual purposes.

According to them, the last time he was seen, some young men engaged Owusu’s services. His body was found days later in a bush.

It is not clear what might have influenced his killers to commit the crime, but residents believe it could be for ritual purposes.

They described Owusu as a hard working boy, whose Okada business fetched him a lot of money within a short period.

The sources say the law enforcement agents in the community are doing everything possible to apprehend the perpetrators of the heinous crime.

Owusu, according to friends, started his Okada business in the area after graduating from Junior High School (SHS).
