Few weeks ago, the leader and founder of Willing Ways Foundation Lydia Abena Manu told Tabea TV that the “Wo Taatame” hitmaker was brought to him by his family in 2013 and have since abandoned him because he is mad.
“I provide him with shelter, food and many other things he needs but his family members, his fellow musicians, the Ghana Music Right Organization (GHAMRO) and the Musicians Union of Ghana association (MUSIGA) have abandoned him… they’ve not paid him a visit,” she said.
But Executives of the Musicians Union Of Ghana (MUSIGA), yesterday paid a visit to rapper, a delegation which was led by the Greater Accra Regional Chairman for the union, Ras Appiah, following their visit has confirmed that, the musician is mentally sound and not mad as was said days ago in the news.
Ras, in an interview with Sammy Flex of Showbiz Agenda said, “the gentleman is doing good. He is of a sound mind and he is doing very well. In fact, he was so elated to see us”
He also refuted rumors that the rapper was living in the psychiatric center. He confirmed that the rapper is said to be living with Maame Abena Mensah, the founder and CEO of the facility.
Okomfo Kwadee explained that he is now better and has currently been made an ambassador to campaign against drug abuse mainly among the youth.
He expressed his gratitude to MUSIGA for not abandoning him but coming to check up on him to see how he is doing.
He as well extended his gratitude to Kasapreko limited. Kwadee revealed he will be coming out with a song soon now that he is better so Ghanaians should watch out.
