Paramount chief of Akyem Abuakwa, Okyehene Amoatia Ofori Panin II has disclosed how former Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur was taken to the 37 military hospital.
In a video posted on Facebook, the Okyehene is heard saying the former Vice President who died on Friday, 29 June 2018, was placed at the back of a pick-up to the hospital when efforts to revive him failed.
Okyehene who was with the former late Vice President, Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur the time he collapsed at the gym got this to say;
“We gathered around him and pumped his heart as hard as we could, yelled out his name; his wife was calling out: ‘Jesus, save him!’ I just said: ‘Call the ambulance, let’s take him to the hospital’.
There were about seven, eight of us, and something dawned on me: When we took him out, there was no ambulance, there was no car, we threw the former vice-president in the back of a pick-up and drove off to 37” – – he said.
He further entreat every individual to look upon his or her life very well in this world as no one knows when the unfortunate will happen.
This revelation from the renowned chief comes as a surprise to many and thinking what will trigger such utterance.
