Omari Forson to Become Free Agent at End of June

Ghanaian youngster Omari Forson is set to leave Manchester United after failing to agree on a new contract.

The 19-year-old attacker, born in London, will become a free agent at the end of June. Despite breaking into the first team last season under manager Erik ten Hag, Forson has decided not to stay at Old Trafford.

He made seven appearances, mostly as a substitute, including in important games against Manchester City and Arsenal.

United reportedly offered Omari Forson a new long-term deal, recognizing the potential in the England youth international. However, Forson prioritized playing time and felt he wasn’t high enough in the pecking order.

With tough competition from players like Antony, Amad, and Garnacho on the wings, as well as established stars such as Mason Mount and Bruno Fernandes in midfield, securing regular minutes proved challenging.

While United were eager to keep him, Forson has chosen a different path. Sources suggest he will officially leave United at the end of June and is currently evaluating the best option for his future career. Forson believes he can find better opportunities elsewhere.

Omari is expected to attract significant interest from clubs across Europe as his contract expires. The young talent will be a valuable free agent, offering teams a chance to acquire a promising attacker.
