Onion truck traps taxi at Kumasi Sofoline

A CARGO truck , fully loaded with sacks of onion, fell on its side and trapped a taxi with registration number AS 962-16 at Sofoline in Kumasi on Tuesday, Valentine Day.

Luckily, there was nobody in the taxi when the truck, which was filled to the brim with onion, unfortunately trapped it.

The scary accident attracted hordes of curious people to the scene, who tried to rescue any trapped person.

Fortunately, it emerged that the driver of the taxi had left his vehicle even before the truck landed and trapped it.

In a video, which has gone viral, some people were seen standing at the accident scene having discussions.

Some of the people, especially the males, were seen complaining about the rise in accidents in Kumasi lately.

Other people were also seen thanking God for intervening to help prevent casualties in the near-gory accident.

When the story was being filed, the people at the scene were trying to lift the sacks of onions from the taxi.
