Oral Sex Is A Criminal Offence – Lawyer Ampaw

Persons who indulge in any form of oral sex are committing a criminal offence that can land them in prison for not more than three years, Lawyer Maruice Ampaw has stated.

“One of the things I have campaigned against if for a man to lick a woman’s genitals or use the tongue to enter her vagina. In law, it is called unnatural carnal knowledge and it is a crime with a prescribed punishment in our law books. We can’t continue to pretend we are not aware”, Lawyer Ampaw noted on Okay FM’s Best Entertainment Show.

He explained further that Act 29 of the Criminal Offences Act, Section 104, is very clear on this that unnatural carnal knowledge is sexual intercourse with a person in an unnatural manner and this is a misdemeanor that can attract a prison term.

“Carnal knowledge simple means sexual intercourse. And when there is sex in an unnatural way, it is known as unnatural carnal knowledge. Oral sex is a form of sex that can make a woman reach orgasm but it falls under unnatural carnal knowledge when you use your tongue to penetrate her vagina. The only form of natural carnal knowledge is when a penis penetrates a vagina. This is the only one accepted by law, any other forms of sex is not accepted”, Lawyer Ampaw added.

He continued: “Every part of the human body has a specific function and the tongue has absolutely no business going down there. If a woman gets a man who is not careful, he may even start to bite you down there. I have handled divorcé cases where the husband is addicted to oral sex and for 13 years, he never used his penis to have sex. This man performed oral sex on his wife for 13 years until the place became sore and she had bruises.
