For the first time in the Ghanaian gospel music history, a revolution genre, Raggae, Afro Pop Gospel, has been introduced into the industry, and is gaining acceptance faster than expected.
The genre, introduced by Akesse Brempong, is catching up very quickly like wild fire, and it appears the youth can’t get enough of it.
Over the weekend, Akesse was joined by some gospel musicians in the Industry for the 5th edition of his annual gospel music festival, dubbed Agape Carnival, at the Achimota Retail Centre.
The event saw the Gospel Reggae Kingpin, Akesse Brempong, shaking the foundation of the venue with support from the Tribe of Judah and other musicians.
Kofi Duah Anto -KODA, sensational minstrel, Efe Grace, Urban Gospel icon, Kingzkid, and the ever-energetic praise machine, Paolo, alongside several other musicians, were in their numbers to thrill patrons.
The event was powered by the Akesse Brempong Ministeries and supported by Upswing Music, Genet Services, God’s Family Music Ministries, DDP, iSee Works, and Ghud Music.
