The Kumasi Mall has also witnessed another unfortunate incident of parts of its roof caving in, according to reports.
The incident happened today December 11, 2018 when the mall had not been opened. According to information, there were no casualties recorded and workers are seen on grounds clearing the venue.
Our checks indicate, the Kumasi City Mall is currently shut down and management are under urgent meeting to see way forward for the business center.
The National Disaster Management Organisation coordinator (NADMO) has been at the scene and further urged the public not to panic as the situation has been brought under control.
The Kumasi City Mall is the first of its kind in the city. The Kumasi City Mall cost $95 million and took 24 months to complete. The mall is one of the biggest malls in West Africa. The property is owned by Delico Property Limited
